Comparisons: Ciaté Apple and Custard vs. OPI Thanks a Windmillion vs. Barry M Mint Green vs. Essie Mint Candy Apple

I had Ciaté Apple and Custard on my Index after my earlier swatching session at Sephora, and while deciding whether or not to buy it I decided to compare it with a few similar colours in my collection! The closest off the top of my head was OPI Thanks a Windmillion, in my mind they looked pretty similar. Honestly I only put Mint Candy Apple there for contrast with the other darker greens because I didn't have any other similar colours!

(L to R: Apple and Custard, Thanks a Windmillion, Mint Green, Mint Candy Apple)

True enough, Apple and Custard and Windmillion were pretty close even on the nail. Not spot on dupes but close enough! A&C was ever so slightly lighter and more yellow toned. Mint Green was much brighter than the rest - a bright turquoise colour that's on the green end of a green-blue spectrum of turquoise. And there's Mint Candy Apple sitting pretty on the pinky!

Colours edited to show their true-er colour because my camera wasn't capturing the full intensity.
The slightly more yellow tone in A&C is clearer here!

This last picture was taken with my iPhone since it seemed to be able to handle the greens better than my camera could.

Overall, I don't know if I'll still get Apple and Custard. It's a really nice colour but soooo similar, like a brighter less dull version of Windmillion, which is one of my all time favourite go-to polishes. They're close, but close enough to not have A&C in my collection? Pretty sure I might succumb and get it soon though! x
